Goodfellow Finance Limited is an indigenous Zambian microfinance institution registered with the Bank of Zambia. Established in 2017, we specialize in providing payday salary advances and short-term loans to employed individuals across all sectors. We operate 28 branches nationwide, serving customers in all 10 provinces of Zambia.
Who can apply for a loan at Goodfellow Finance?
We serve employed individuals from various sectors including government employees, mining sector workers, ZESCO employees, NGO staff, agricultural sector employees, teachers, nurses, private sector employees, and small to medium enterprise (SME) owners. You must have a regular source of income and meet our basic eligibility criteria.

To apply for a loan, you'll typically need:

How long does it take to get approved?
We pride ourselves on quick approval times! Most loan applications are reviewed and approved on the same day, provided all required documents are submitted and verified. You'll receive notification of your approval status via phone call, SMS, or email.

How will I receive my loan?
We offer flexible disbursement options to suit your needs:
- Instant Cash: Collect cash from any of our branches
- Bank Transfer: Direct deposit to your bank account
- Mobile Money: Transfer to your mobile money wallet

How do I repay my loan?
We use two secure repayment methods:
- DDACC (Direct Debit Authority Collection): Automatic deduction from your bank account on the agreed date
- PMEC (Payroll Management and Employee Contributions): Direct deduction from your salary by your employer
These automated systems ensure you never miss a payment and maintain a good credit record.
What are the loan terms and repayment period?
Our short-term loans typically have repayment periods of 1-2 months. The specific terms, including the repayment schedule and interest rate, will be clearly explained and agreed upon before you sign the loan agreement. We believe in transparency and ensuring you understand all loan terms.
